OptiSail project
The OptiSail project (Optimal Installation of Sails on Ships) has officially started. Our goal is to develop an advanced digital tool for predicting the energy performance of ships equipped with Wind-Assisted Ship Propulsion (WASP) systems. The software will be able to accurately estimate the vessel’s dynamic behavior and the associated energy savings, with particular attention to the reduction of CO₂ emissions, making a concrete contribution to the decarbonization of the maritime sector.
